Yare Yare
I'm gonna tackle a short MN comic. I'm determined! It's gonna happen, damn it. I want to prove to myself that I can make a comic in a short amount of time. *fist shake*

Today I saw some really gorgeous colored-in pencil drawings and felt like giving it a try. I have to say I really like the results. Weird as it sounds, I feel like my love for him really comes through in this one.

I looove Niizuma's kineticism.
I really hope the western Bakuman fandom grows! It barely exists outside of chapter discussion. u__u Until then, Japanese fandom shall sustain me. *_* Also, one day I need to sit down and just practice drawing hands all day.

LET'S HOSPITAL!
FINALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY Finished my illustration for the DN project. Sorry for being away so long. I will draw after I've relaxed for a bit and have studied for my tests. @_@
And since you guys are super-special, you can see get to see a really cute panel I like from the illustration. ;D

BEFOREEEE
The idea stageee!

AFTERRRRR
The before drawing didn't turn into this immediately. I actually drew another blue layer to plot out the proportions and stuff but I accidentally deleted it. :p I deliberately inked a with a single-width line to retain a graphic and pop-ish look.
I've finally read Bakuman and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It's not surprise that Eiji has become a favorite character of mine. He's small, weird genius and barely functions in the real world like Near but he's a little more humble, ahahaha. Near's such a princess. ♥
And, as much as I love Hattori, Yuujiro is my favorite editor. I like to nickname him 'cloud-haired' editor cause of his poodle hair. He's sensible, curious and practical and sometimes serves as a bit of a babysitter for Eiji, hahaha.
I'm not the type of person to be shipping people so quickly (Especially non-canon couples) but I-I already like them as a couple (YuujiroxEiji). AND UM this is cause Eiji reminds me of Near and Yuuji, Sute, and their relationship (platonic of course) in the manga makes me think of Near and Gevanni's relationship in the DN manga. So yeahhhhhh
*hopeless* orz;;;;
edit - after reading the tvtropes article on Bakuman, I realized that Eiji has developed as a character. He was kind of dick (and maybe irritating sometimes) in the beginning but he has seriously turned into such a nice kid after he made some friends. OHHHHHHH~ ;_;
Would Near be the same if he made some good friends?

Wooo busy
For the next week or so updates will be pretty sparse because I'll working on something for another special DN project. ;D
Previewwwww (This is barely a 1/9 of the whole thing :D) :

The panels idea was inspired by Chris Ware's comics/illustrations.

Since Near is so pale he can be colored with so many different hues (I should attempt pink someday hahaha). I like blue the best even though that's the most obvious.
A warm coffee color is good too though; it gives a picture an antiquated and nostalgic look I think.
However, a lot of people seem to like Near best in purple.
I want to draw more Gevanni and read the anthology and read Bakuman (I wish I had read it sooner! It's really fantastic.) and play that DN minigame by Akane really baddd. ;_;
But, I must finish that picture in the preview!
edit - fixed it up some more; less thunder thighs *obsessiveee*
