I woke up at like 4 PM and was at a loss at what to do for this day, so while watching the Royal Tenenbaums, I kinda scribbled down random expression drawings of Gevanni on newsprint and thought it looked cute so I scanned it and drew over it. The ideas are starting to come to me now but I'm too tired to flesh them out right now I'm afraid. *yawn*

Four days until Sute's 27th b-day

There's something immensely attractive about a man in his late twenties. He's old enough to not be as reckless and as stupid as he may have been but he's also still very youthful and vigorous. I don't know if that makes any sense but that's part of the appeal Gevanni possesses in my eyes.

And we continue with genderswitch Gevanni (This takes place when Gevanni is following Mikami around):



I think that in the timeline of the post-series oneshot, she'd possess a crush on Near against her better judgment. *_*

Now I need to brainstorm ideas for regular Sute. I should probably mention that I nickname Gevanni, "Sute."

What do you think? Isn't she just cute? I always thought Gevanni would make an interesting girl if he were genderswitched.

I have a hard time deciding on what gender of the cast I'd like to see girl!Sute interact with. A female Mello, Near, Rester, and male Halle and Takada or should the rest of the cast stay the same. Either way it's really fun to imagine. Especially when you consider Gevanni's interaction with Near ("If you're too scared, I can have Rester do it.").

Holy crap, I just finished this! @_@

I wasn't sure what to do for the day of Near's b-day but I felt like I should do a short comic or something but I had noooooo idea what to do but then I remembered a comment I made about Gevanni listening to jazz and having rather deep knowledge about it.
I mean it makes sense, right? He's a tense guy and the soothing jazzy voice would be something he'd love.

Of course, this is supposed to be more about Near. ;;; Ah, but I figured that includes everything I've drawn so far. Also, this comic is about Near in a way. Yeahp, this comic has a lot of secrets and is probably the most thought-provoking one I've made.

This takes place well before Mello kidnapped Sayu. Near and Gevanni are mostly strangers to each other here but Near enjoys messing with him. ;D

I plan to post allllll of this stuff on livejournal so expect and entry, f-list!

I came up with this idea in a reply when, in this Near's b-day fanart post (I hope this is okay. If not, tell me otherwise ♥), aru_keehl joked about his popularity with girls.

Coming up with the girl's poses was kinda difficult because I wasn't clear about what kind of atmosphere I wanted. So, I watched Kiki's Delivery Service (childhood, coming of age) to get in the right kind of mood.

I just realized how big these pictures were when I saw this blog on my 1024*768 resolution computer. I work on a 1280*900 resolution computer most of the time so I seriously had no idea.
All the better to see my mistakes with. O_O;;

In many countries, 18 is the age when you're allowed to drink and since L is an international figure, I'm sure Near-tan gets to travel to many neat places! ;D

Coincidentally, his birthday is also on the very day school should start. Though, personally school doesn't start for me until the day after. Yay, college!

Okay, maybe I really should seriously bake a cake or something. I'll have to see though. I might not have the ingredients to make it pretty like I'll want to. I'll probably buy a slice if I can.

This year is Near's 18th birthday! At first I wasn't sure what to do for him but then I realized that it's his _18th birthday_ so that means he can smoke, have sex with Gevanni, drink (in some countries), buy porn and all sorts of other things.

Yes, this is supposed to be a young Gevanni, maybe 13-years-old, as a nerdy little overachiever. ♥♥♥ He's so cute, ffffffffff.

HAKAS is short for 'Have a kick ass summer'. It's something people write in your yearbook when they're uncreative, hahaha. Rebecca is just some girl I made up but I think I accidentally channeled my sister's choom-smoking buddy because they look similar. ;;;;;;; I was going to have Gevanni alone but, looking through my yearbooks, I rarely see solo portraits of the yearbook staff.

I imagine Stephen is the kind of kid that has a zillion extra-curricular activities and is maybe a part of the National Junior Honor Society.

Sutenia month

I've been practicing how to draw Gevanni all week because I feel like I've gotten kinda stale with him. I felt like I was losing his essence.

HNNNGH, he's so cute. ♥ *in love* Near's birthday is the 24th of August and Gevanni's is the 1st of September making this Sutenia month. That's right. B)

Also, I don't know why but I have an *obsession* with Princess Kakyuu from Sailor Moon. She just seems so wise and elegant and regal. *_*
