Today, I looked at some photos of men's fashion in the late 60s which I think is some of the best (Of the 21st century at least ;;;). I tried "The Who" at first but there really wasn't a lot. ;w; But! I hit the jackpot when I stumbled upon these Stones pictures. Fuck yeah.
Some of the clothes look silly I guess, but pfft whatever I think they're awesome so there. ♥

Aw, check this out. This is really neat. I love the way the hair is drawn. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to draw. But, for me, most of the time I'm not really sure exactly what I'm doing when it comes to hair. Like, I have a vague idea but I guess it's something I'd have to practice at.

Also, I finallly started watching Macross Frontier. Oh man, I checked out the Blu-ray version and it's just spectacular. I really enjoy the show so far. I think I'm most enchanted by the SF aspect of it.

Okay yeah, I haven't been updating as of late. But, I have an excuse. I usually sleep until like 3-5 pm. And, I've been going to movies and eating out for the past few days. In fact I just saw Quantum of Solace which was great.
This morning I decided to redo this turd of a drawing I made not too long ago and it now looks pretty great. Gevanni's hand and his shirt needs some fine tuning and I then I'll have to polish the lineart before giving coloring a shot. Yawn yawn, well time for bed.

Okay, so I finalllllly bought something from the WJC store. I was going to go for the 7-dollar poster... but I decided to go for the Matt mug becauseee I've been drinking a lot of tea lately and it would be great to have my very own mug.
My favorite kind of setting for any DN AU is a contemporary, ordinary-life kind of setting and my mind just constantly wonders how these personalities would fit in it. I like the idea of Near being a bit of shut-in type since he doesn't really know how take care of himself and that the SPK are the various people that sort-of, kinda look after him.
Another type of scenario is one where Mello and Near grow up together in a love-hate relationship. That's always been a favorite scenario of mine.
Also, I kinda realize that I'm kinda addicted to what's going in world right now and realize that's no excuse to update. >_> No more, I say!I also feel guilty about not having a pretty drawing to upload with each post. :x

Well then, today is election day. I'm both nervous and excited.
Oh, but I most definitely haven't been neglecting my drawing at all. Actually I recently tore up a bunch of newsprint sheets and am now practicing drawing on them without worry of 'wasting' paper. Best idea ever. I also looked through some old crap in my room and salvaged some old art supplies from high school like pencils with softer lead and this set of Prismacolor color pencils.
I know this is very vanilla but I haven't really drawn post-series Near. This was done kinda blind so I guess it lacks a certain essence cause of that.
Urgghh, why do I have tests on Wednesday?! orz
