Happy Anniversary Simon and Nia!
Just today I found out that it was Simon and Nia's anniversary. ;_; I'm not heavily into the Gurren Lagann fandom but I looooveeee SimonxNia. So! I decided to draw something for them right before I went to sleep (At 1:00PM ;;;;).

Holy crap there is a goldmine of extremely helpful-looking tutorials on PIXIV under the "講座" tag. I CAN'T READ ANY OF IT~! B-but I can follow most of them it seems!

Super tired
In like 5 hours I will have been up for 24 hours, so I'm gonna nap right after this, erghh.
I'll share a couple of things I did today though.
I drew this this page on the bus today while listening to music. I guess I just wasn't in the mood for podcasts today.
I really enjoyed drawing the woman above Mello a lot. She had a lot of character and was a very new subject for me. I also particularly like the drawing of the girl to the right of her; she has very interesting expression going in there.
I tried to color in the Mello drawing in photoshop, but... I feel like I failed... orz It looks like he has braces...And the lines are too thick with little variation, blah blah Oh well, at least I got some practice out of it!
Mello with braces sounds really cute though ;w; *Imagination runs wild* It'd give more fuel for him to be aggressive with Near *_* Yes, I'm horrible for loving that~
Ohhh, lately, my mind has been preoccupied with MelloxNear--thoughts partly to do with some really neat MN rping. I'm starting to remember why I like it~
Well now, I'm getting tired so I'll close with this neat little sketch I made. SN MEETING! SN are the initials used for SimonxNia and StephenxNear so I guess I thought that was cool. :x
(I almost typed StephenxNia...damn that would be precious)

Grand opening! Well, sorta.
Why have a fanart site when I already have a DeviantArt account?
Well, I believe that I, personally, need a different kind of site format so that I can better chronicle my development as an artist (post sketches and flail like an idiot over cool things I discover) and so I have a place to organize the crap I draw a lot better(Seperate sketches from illustrations).
I also hope this sort of format will encourage me to have more variety in my drawing (Both in subject and drawing styles) and explore different kinds of techniques (Media, technique, etc,).
Butttttttt I plan to fangirl a lot too and maybe put some bits of everyday life in here. Especially fangirl! Ohh and maybe talk about some of the shows I'm watching too!
Honestly, this whole fanartist thing has got me both excited and anxious. Excited because I love seeing the way these sites (and blogs) work and, now, I have my very own! Anxious because I don't know... it makes me nervous. There aren't very many English-speaking fans doing this sort of thing (AND I WISH THEY WOULD! ;_; Ohhhhhh, that would be lovely.)

Well then, I watched a little of the Code Geass finale. I don't really follow the show and I have mixed feelings about it. The ending doesn't seem too bad but I'm a little disappointed because there was so much hype that the ending was going to be a huuuuge trainwreck.

This is p-uh-retty old. I drew this roughly 6 months ago. It was mostly an experiment to see if I could color with analogous hues (purple, pinkish, blue). Ahhhh, my gesture was a lot better back then. Sigh, I love drawing Near. <333

A thumbnail of another sketch I drew maybe a month or two after the previous. I keep meaning to watch the Rose of Versailles! I downloaded the OST and I listen to it all the time. My favorite tracks are Magical Rose and Hoshi ni Naru Futari (C'est Toi), mmh, cause they're so ☆fabulous☆!
