Linebeck is kinda Useless

Lately, I've been really, really into playing "Zelda: Phantom Hourglass."

Also, for the past few days I was out.

On Sunday I went to the movies with my mom and saw "The Punisher" which was sooo cheesy and gory. My mom got nightmares from it though (She always gets nightmares so easily).
On Monday I drove with my mom all the way to the south side of town to try this chicken from some place called "El Pechugon" and some guy left a small scratch on the back of her car and took off. My mom got pissed and called the cops but nothing came of it ultimately. Thank goodness, I brought the DS. Had to wait like two hours for the police.

And, today, I went to the movies to see "Transporter 3" with my mom and sister. That was really nice. Ah, and my sister brought her two kittens. I was already acquainted with 'Tweak' named because he came from an ex-addict's house and I guess cause he's jumpy. And last but not least, this tiny little (6-week-old) siamese kitten named "Marilyn Monroe".
OMFG she was sooo cute ;w; She fit in my hands a-a-and she kicks her legs when you pet her. Ahhhh x3

To be honest, I'm not really sure what kind of artwork I could do for Christmas. I really want to do something Sutenia-ish but ahh I just don't know what.
I remember going to the art building at my school and checking this guy's work on display and he had the most beautiful gesture ever. It was like gorgeous. Made me feel ashamed for not working so much. I did doodle every single class of U.S. History though but... I don't think that's enough.

Aw, check this out. This is really neat. I love the way the hair is drawn. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to draw. But, for me, most of the time I'm not really sure exactly what I'm doing when it comes to hair. Like, I have a vague idea but I guess it's something I'd have to practice at.

The rest of the drawings from this article are actually kind of cute. I wish I could see all 80 ;w;

Oh god, this site is just rife with reference material...

Also, I finallly started watching Macross Frontier. Oh man, I checked out the Blu-ray version and it's just spectacular. I really enjoy the show so far. I think I'm most enchanted by the SF aspect of it.

Off with his head

Okay yeah, I haven't been updating as of late. But, I have an excuse. I usually sleep until like 3-5 pm. And, I've been going to movies and eating out for the past few days. In fact I just saw Quantum of Solace which was great.

This morning I decided to redo this turd of a drawing I made not too long ago and it now looks pretty great. Gevanni's hand and his shirt needs some fine tuning and I then I'll have to polish the lineart before giving coloring a shot. Yawn yawn, well time for bed.

Long time no update >_>

Well then, today is election day. I'm both nervous and excited.

Oh, but I most definitely haven't been neglecting my drawing at all. Actually I recently tore up a bunch of newsprint sheets and am now practicing drawing on them without worry of 'wasting' paper. Best idea ever. I also looked through some old crap in my room and salvaged some old art supplies from high school like pencils with softer lead and this set of Prismacolor color pencils.

I know this is very vanilla but I haven't really drawn post-series Near. This was done kinda blind so I guess it lacks a certain essence cause of that.

Near tan

Urgghh, why do I have tests on Wednesday?! orz

durp

Uh so yeah, I found a whole load of tutorials! I'm very happy with them and they're now neatly organized on my comp-comp. x3 Problem is I have a short attention span so I close one PDF and open another. There's one that's _just_ on hands and I can't help but want to scroll through the whole thing and just ogle them. Ohhh damn it Near. He's the reason why hands have become so alluring to me *_*

I drew some pretty all right stuff, I just need to scan and fix the line art and refine. I'm just so lazy though ;w;
